In the top bar, for seeing your own tickets. Reading articles needs no account. Once you are signed in, the bar shows your email address and a Log out button instead.
EN / DE

Reading the results

The article text
The whole article on one page, with its headings, lists, steps and links as they were written. Nothing is shortened and there is no next page to open.
Language of the article
Each article is written in one language, which may differ from the language you are reading the portal in. The article list shows your language by default and offers an All languages option.
Reading an article opens no ticket and notifies nobody. If it does not solve your problem, use New ticket and say which article you read and what you already tried.

Printer Offline

Printer shows as offline

Symptoms

  • The printer appears greyed out or marked Offline on your computer
  • Print jobs stay in the queue and never print

Fix it yourself

  1. Walk to the printer and check it is powered on and its display is lit — press the power button or a key on the panel to wake it from sleep mode.
  2. Check the printer's display for error messages (paper jam, out of paper, toner) and resolve them.
  3. On your computer, open the printer settings, select the printer, and untick any option called Use Printer Offline or Pause Printing.
  4. Restart your computer and check whether the printer comes back online.
  5. If you are working remotely, make sure you are connected to the office network or your VPN client — office printers are usually only reachable from the company network.
  6. Try removing the printer from your computer and adding it again from the company printer list.

If that did not help

Open a ticket and include the printer name, your computer name, whether you are in the office or remote, and when the printer went offline.
